Registration for Enrolment

To register your child for OSHC with NWCC, please click on the Register link below.

We recommend you have the following information available:

  • Parent/Guardian Customer Reference Number (CRN). This is used for government identification and claim the Child Care Subsidy. It must be linked to the person who is claiming the subsidy.

  • Child Customer Reference Number (CRN).

  • 2 x alternative emergency contact persons, including their contact details.

  • Doctor, Dentist, Medicare number, Private Health Fund details.

  • Medical Management plans.

  • Court or parenting orders.

  • Immunisation history statement – current, obtained from Medicare online portal.

  • Bank account or credit card details for direct debit payments.

Waiting lists may apply to selected services. Applications for care are prioritised by date of application and will be offered and confirmed in writing, with consideration to licensed numbers and staff availability.

Bookings Upon Enrolment

Once your enrolment has been completed and established, NWCC will send you an offer for OSHC (Out of School Hours Care) via email, based on the sessions requested during registration.

Families will need to accept and confirm this offer by the due date, via the My Family Lounge Portal using a computer/laptop. (This cannot be done by a mobile device).

Note: A separate email will be sent at the start of the week to commencement of care, asking families to confirm their CCS enrolment on their My Gov portal.

Changes to Bookings

 Changes to bookings may be made:

  • via the My Family Lounge Web Portal or App (for families with active bookings),

  • via email to bookings@nwcc.com.au.

My Family Lounge Web Portal and App

The My Family Lounge Web Portal and the My Family Lounge App are integrated with our Qikkids software.

This portal allows families to make casual bookings and mark children absent, without the need to email or ring our bookings team.

Marking your child absent is for your child’s safety and wellbeing. A non-notification fee is an additional fee that will be charged if our Service staff need to spend time locating your child.

Medical Conditions

To support children’s wellbeing and manage specific healthcare needs, allergies, or relevant medical conditions, Northwest Community Childcare will work in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations to ensure health related policies and procedures are implemented. We aim to take every reasonable precaution to protect children’s health and safety by explicitly adhering to individual medical management and risk management plans and responding to any emergency should they arise.

If you child has a diagnosed healthcare need, allergy or medical condition. Key procedures and strategies must be in place prior to the child commencing at the Service to ensure their individual health, safety and wellbeing.

Prior to your child commencing care, families will ensure they provide the following:

  • A Medical Management Plan completed by a registered Medical Practitioner

  • Medication and dosage prescribed with a pharmacy label, to give to Service Coordinator

  • Recent coloured photo of the child
